Incredible experience!! From Tanzania’s Wildebeests Migration to Uganda’s Mountain Gorillas! Our five days exploring Tanzania on a wildebeest migration safari, and a visit to Ngorongoro Crater, before flying to Uganda for a three-day gorilla trekking adventure with Salt Holidays was nothing short of spectacular! Tanzania offered beautiful landscapes and exciting wildlife sightings seeing all the big 5 animals we wished. Ngorongoro impressed us a lot with its remarkable scenery & wildlife. In Uganda, our experience changed completely as we explored the forest in search of mountain gorillas. The trek was challenging at times especially hiking uphill, but seeing these incredible animals in their natural habitat made every step worthwhile. Our guide Silver, was friendly and helpful, he made the journey more enjoyable and shared useful information about the gorillas and their habitat. We also appreciated the peaceful impenetrable forest of Bwindi and learned more about gorilla conservation. Combining both countries made our holiday varied and memorable. Salt Holidays is worth considering for travelers interested in experiencing Tanzania’s wildlife and Uganda’s gorillas.

Beyond the Big 5 in Uganda My wife and I chose Salt Holidays for a 7-day Uganda safari, hoping to see the Big 5 and experience some primate encounters. What we enjoyed most was how much more the trip offered than those two highlights. From Entebbe onward, the scenery kept changing, and every day seemed to bring a different atmosphere. The primate experience was fascinating, particularly watching them move, feed, and interact naturally around us. During the game drives, we had several exciting wildlife sightings, including elephants and lions, while other animals appeared when we least expected them. Our guide Joseph played a big part in making the experience comfortable. He was approachable, answered our questions, and never pressured us to hurry through a sighting. We had enough time for photographs and simply enjoying the views together. The midrange accommodation suited us well, offering comfort after active days. It was a wonderful way for my wife and me to discover Uganda.

3 Days Full of Discovery! We booked a 3-day Queen Elizabeth National Park trip with Salt Holidays for our family, it turned out to be much more memorable than we thought. The chimp trekking was the highlight for everyone. Walking in the Kyambura gorge together with three other guests searching for chimpanzees created plenty of excitement, especially when we finally spotted them in trees not so long after hearing their loud vocals. The game drive and boat safari brought a complete different experience. We enjoyed seeing elephants, buffalo, antelope and beautiful birds. Our guide was very cheerful, and informative. He explained everything to us and particularly gave us enough time to enjoy each sighting. We never felt rushed even when we had a few days on our trip. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. 7 day adventure experience with family in Uganda. As parents of teenagers aged 15 and 17, this 7-day mid-range safari in Uganda with Salt Holidays was perfect for us. We started in Kibale tracking habituated chimpanzees- the kids were thrilled watching them. Bwindi gorilla trek was the emotional peak, the hike built anticipation, then sitting with a habituated group was humbling-silverback staring right at us. Queen Elizabeth National Park brought the Big 4 action: lions on the prowl, elephant herds, leopards in trees, plus a boat cruise on the channel full of hipo and beautiful birds. Lake Mburo provided a relaxing ending-it was really exciting to see the animals on foot with a healthy guided walking safari free from truck emissions. Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient. We walk to learn about footprints by our professional guide and a beautiful sunset. The mid-range accommodations were quite comfortable: clean family rooms, fresh breakfast, and the staff took great care of us. Overall Salt Holidays was very responsible and their hospitality made our journey memorable.

10 day great journey in Uganda & Rwanda. Our group recently completed a 10-day Uganda Rwanda safar with Salt Holidays, and the entire experience was well planned and wonderfully organized. From the moment we landed in Entebbe, Salt Holidays everything was organized smoothly and professionally. On the way to Kibale Forest National Park, we saw beautiful rural scenery, but the real highlight was the chimpanzee trek. Seeing chimpanzees roaming freely in the forest canopy was unforgettable. The Bigdi Wetland Walk was equally enjoyable, as we saw colorful birds and monkeys everywhere. One of the most unique moments was driving through Ishasha and spotting tree-climbing lions resting comfortably in the trees. Relaxing by Lake Kivu after several safari days was refreshing and peaceful. The golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park was energetic and entertaining from beginning to end. The Kigali city tour on the last day was informative and a perfect conclusion to an amazing safari adventure.

The gorilla trekking experience was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Walking through the misty, ancient forest created a mystical atmosphere, and it was our first time seeing gorillas up close, so we were excited. Besides the gorillas, the Big Five game drives were equally exciting. Every day brought something new, from lions lazing lazily on the grass to elephants crossing our path. Everything was very well organised and our guide made the trip safe and interesting. Ending our journey in Entebbe was the perfect way to close out such an incredible adventure. We will never forget this journey.

Queen Elizabeth National Park offers such a rich mix of scenery and wildlife that every hour felt different from the last. One minute we were driving past open savannah, and the next we were near crater lakes that looked like something out of a painting. The chimp trekking at the Kyambura gorge was so rewarding, when we found them, it was worth every step in the gorge, we initially wanted Kibale Forest but had limited time, salt holidays recommended the Kyambura gorge and we couldn't ask for more! Seeing chimpanzees in their natural habitat, interacting freely, was something we will never forget. Our 10 Days best classical safari experience in Uganda. Our 10-day safari in Uganda, and our wildlife experience was a very exciting, and it was consistently carried out by Salt Holidays as per our expectations. We started trekking with our very professional guide. The highlight was trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We also tracked rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, which added a different layer to the Big 5 goal. Walking on foot toward such large animals is very different from viewing wildlife from a vehicle. Game drives in Murchison Falls National Park brought elephants, giraffes, and a distant leopard into view. Each park had its own beauty. We spent 10 days observing wildlife and understanding the diverse landscapes of Uganda. Many memories that will truly last a lifetime.

Wonderful journey & Salt professionally managed. We had the opportunity to go on a 7-day safari in Uganda, where we went primate tracking and saw savannah wildlife, and it was our best experience. Queen Elizabeth National Park provided classic safari game drives, where we observed elephants crossing dusty tracks and buffalo resting in groups. Our lodge was awesome and the staff were hospitable. Lake Mburo National Park offered a quieter finish, with zebras grazing near our lodge. Undoubtedly it was the best adventure time with my family.
