Uganda is a beautiful country in east Africa, it its known as the pearl of Africa due to its natural composition, there are 10 conservation areas of the country each of which presents a different ecosystem in the country, the country is a tourism hot spot for most travelers to East Africa. It is one destination to see the so called big five of the wilderness accompanied with the primates of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Kibale Forest National Park. Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National Park, it is a primary activity of the country, it is one of the most interesting thing to do while in Uganda,  done in the morning hours beginning at 8:00 am east African time, Uganda has half of the population of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas tracking is done in groups of eight for 2-8 hours depending on how far the gorilla families have moved, gorilla permits are bought in advance for convenience the parks are the countries cold areas and therefore advisable to wear long sleeved warm clothes, boots, hand gloves , water proof  covers for phones and cameras.

Game Drives take place in most of the savannah conservation areas all the national parks in Uganda including the Murchison falls national park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kidepo valley national park among the many savannah park, game drives are conducted using 4×4 wheel car drives through the well distributed game tracks of the park , they are done in the early morning, evenings and night in search of early morning risers and nocturnal species, several animal species and bird species can be spotted during the activity for example elephants, antelopes, leopards, lions, hippos, giraffes, waterbucks, bushbucks, Jackson hartebeest, greater and lesser kudus, buffaloes, elands, to mention a few the national are well distributed with game tracks that enable viewing of wildlife with ease.

Boat cruises in Uganda’s destinations are magnificent as you have a chance to see several of water birds and animals that gather around banks to drink water, sundowners these take place along the Kazinga channel in queen Elizabeth national park, a boat cruise to the bottom of the magical Murchison falls, Lake Mburo National Park, cruises for sundowners at the River Nile, Lake Bunyonyi cannoning along the islands these unveil Uganda’s top tourism potential an over whelming experience that shouldn’t be missed out.

Uganda hosts over 1000 species of birds, birding safaris give an opportunity to unveil the beautiful species existing in the country some of which are endemic and restricted to the areas that they exist for example the African green broad bill in Ruhija sector of Bwindi impenetrable national park spotted species are African fish eagle, pelicans, crown crested crane, plover, owls, Abyssinian ground horn bill, plantain eater, rare shoe bill stock, sunbirds among other several kinds.

Chimpanzee Tracking is done Kibale Forest National Park and the queen Elizabeth national park done two sessions, Uganda is a primate destination with 13 species it is possible to see other monkey types while doing the tracking like the black and white colobus monkey, L’hoest monkey, red tailed monkey, blue monkey, olive baboons, vervet monkeys to mention a few, tracking is done in groups of people per troop, these have been scientifically proven to share up to 98% of the human DNA, they nest up in the tree canopies led by male alpha, tracking time takes 2-3 hour’s depending where the primates are and an hour is allowed while with the primates.
