Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a Salt Holidays company representative who will transfer you to accommodation that has been booked for your dinner and staying overnight, take your time to relax as we wait for the following day’s adventures. Depending on the time you arrive we will have a brief city tour in Entebbe visiting the Entebbe botanical gardens, visit the Victoria mole for shopping incase you have a few items you require to buy, returning for dinner at

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Early morning breakfast, after which we will transfer to Uganda’s largest protected and oldest conservation area passing via the Kampala – Gulu highway through the beautiful hills, small villages, and towns, stop over in Nakasongola for lunch at Amuka lodge and a 2-3 hour rhino tracking, this is one of the few places where one can do the activity of which it is done in the foot, expect to see Rhinos and many birds, returning to meet your guide who will proceed with the journey to the park for dinner and stay overnight at

Day 3: Game Drives and Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the Falls

Morning breakfast after which we will drive to the northern bank of the park for animal views, the morning time is best to see morning risers through the well-distributed game tracks popular sights include Rothchild’s giraffes, Jackson hartebeests, oribi, Uganda jobs, lions, leopards, African elephants, African buffaloes, returning for lunch and an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, it takes 2-3hours while enjoying the cruise, the metamorphic rocky banks are angelic along which on the lower side are basking Nile crocodiles and hippos moving in and out of the water, the sound of the falling water from the great Murchison fall is such a wonderful experience returning to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight at

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Following an early morning breakfast, we will have an all-day drive to Kibale Forest National Park, passing through the beautiful villages of Kagadi, Kibale Forest National Park is a known destination for primates in Uganda, popular for the chimpanzee, the forest is one of the few remaining tracts of tropical rain forest in Uganda, covering the largest forest part of Kabarole district overlooking the fortportal plateau, the journey to the park takes approximately 8 hours arriving in time for dinner and staying overnight at

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

On this day we will have an early morning breakfast after which we transfer to the Kanyanchu visitor center for a briefing from the park rangers, in sets, you will be led through the forest and  search for Chimpanzees,  they are loud with their charter sound in that you will be in a position to hear then even at a distance, tracking time is between 2-3hours, chimpanzee are said to share up to 98% of the human DNA, they live in troops of up to 100members led by a male alpha, an hour is allowed to be with the chimps later which we will return to meet our guide for lunch and an afternoon Bigodi Swamp walk in search of more primates of the national park

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Transfer to Bwindi’s impenetrable national park through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, en-route expect to see African elephants, baboons, and waterbucks en-route arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon Batwa community experience, these are the last short structured people in Uganda they lived in the forest together with other creatures

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking Experience

Mountain gorillas are some of the most critically endangered species of Uganda, they live within the forest without being captivated, early in the morning after w have breakfast we will assemble for a briefing from the park rangers, trekking through the forest requires physical fitness, it is tough terrain but rewarding by the end of the day, as the gentle fur brown eyed species will keep doing what they love most even in your presence, enjoy the rolling of juveniles and black backs for an hour while observing the gorilla rules and regulations, returning to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight at

Day 8: Departure

Wake up to a mouth-watering breakfast after which we will be transferred to Entebbe or Kampala for our international flight back home stop over at the Equator for a picture moment and lunch.
