Day one

Transfer to Lake Mburo national park

This 7days Uganda honeymoon safari starts with a transfer to Lake Mburo national park in western Uganda. The journey is enjoyable with an en-route stop over at the equator in Kayabwe along Kampala- Masaka road. The major aim for the stopover is to have a coffee break as well as support the local road side vendors in the crafts villages. This helps to consolidate tourism sensitization in Uganda for sustainability and inclusivity of the local communities.

Day two

Day three

Gorilla trekking and community visit

You will enjoy the early morning breakfast, before joining the other travelers for another epic adventure into the dense forest. First, you will be briefed about the whole trekking; the dos and don’ts of this experience.

Then, led by the experienced forest rangers, you will hit the road into the jungle trails in search for the mountain gorillas. The one hour encounter with the gorillas is always a story for all the travelers back at the lodge and forever. Day four

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

In the morning, after a hearty breakfast, you will check out and hit the road for another thrilling drive towards kasese to Queen Elizabeth national park. Reaching Queen Elizabeth national park, you will enjoy the midmorning game drive in ishasha; the southern part of the park. Look out for sightings of the tree climbing lions that occasionally love to lounge in the giant fig trees during the hot noon and afternoons.

Day five

Game drive and sunset boat cruise

Day seven

Departure / flight to Entebbe

In the morning you will have a delicious farewell breakfast before checking out. After you will drive to Kasese airport to catch your flight back to Entebbe international airport.
