Day 1: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park

You will be met by our company safari driver – guide from your hotel in Kisoro and then transfer to Mgahinga National Park. Arrive at the park headquarter for a short briefing, then after set off for the gorilla trekking adventure. This gorilla trekking is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The rangers will lead you into the canopy forest trails in search of the gentle giant.

You will move up and down the rugged terrain until you finally meet these harmonious creatures whose company you will cherish for an hour. The activity can last about 30minutes and 7hours depending on their location of the gorilla. On finding them, you will be given one hour to watch them as they play around, feed, learn their lifestyle as well as taking memorable photography for your future remembrance.

After an incredible gorilla trekking, walk back to the park headquarters meet to be rewarded with certificate for participating in gorilla trekking. Then, meet up with your driver guide to drive you out of the park and be transferred to Kisoro to be dropped at your hotel or at Kigali.
