Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Tour Around The City
On this day we will be visiting the various tourist places in Kampala, upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will meet /greet from our agreed point of departure, we will access some of these places by foot or by car depending on how much you want to dig into the culture, we will begin the walk to Kira road near the Uganda wildlife authority offices, visiting the Uganda museum, this presents an opportunity to get to learn and see the old historical artefacts, visit the Kasubi Royal Tombs this is a place of rest for the Buganda royal kings, you will be told about the rich cultural mile of the kingdom and heritage, have a break for lunch in Mengo.
Visit the Royal mile in the afternoon and visit the Buganda Kingdom parliament, en-route you will be amazed by the many totem sculptures placed around the Kabaka road, each of these uniquely identifies different clans, while at the kingdom we will see the Buganda parliament, take a brief tour of the Idi Amin torture chambers, the cells were used by the late Ugandan president Idi Amin to torture his political victims, proceed to Owino market for a feel of the African authentic food variety, species, and fresh fruits.
