Day 1: Pickup, Kilimanjaro Hike

Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up,  Kilimanjaro Hike

You shall be met by your guide in your hotel in Arusha and then proceed for a transfer to the foothills of Kilimanjaro Mountain, the highest free-standing mountain in the world and the highest mountain in Africa.

You shall proceed to embark on a hike of the Marangu route, which will take you 6 hours to ascend and descend.

After, you shall be driven to Moshi town, from where you shall have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive to Serengeti National Park.

You will have breakfast at your lodge ahead of your drive to Serengeti National Park. You will engage in a game drive around the open savannah plains as you look out for wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, kudus, impalas, elands, waterbucks, lions, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests, among others.

After the game drive you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Full day at Serengeti National Park.

You will wake up for an early breakfast at your lodge ahead of a morning and afternoon game drive.

You will engage in a morning game drive around Serengeti National Park and look out for wildlife species like the big 5, such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos and rhinos as well as wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, giraffes, impalas, and waterbucks, among others.

After your morning game drive, you will have lunch and later engage in an afternoon game drive around the national park in search of more wildlife species.

After your full day of wildlife viewing, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Drive to Arusha

On the last day of your safari, you will have breakfast ahead of your drive from Serengeti National Park to Arusha, where your guide will drop you off at your hotel in Arusha, which will bring your safari to an end.
