1 Day Nyungwe National Park Safari , Nyungwe national park is famous for being home to 13 primate species, including the chimpanzees, the most dominant primate species that can be seen when you participate in chimpanzee trekking, the most famous activity in nyungwe national park.

However, the newly introduced chimpanzee habituation in Nyungwe national park will give you the chance to spend more time with the species, understanding more about their behavior in the wild.

This 1 day nyungwe national park safari/ chimpanzee habituation in Rwanda will lead you to the park headquarters at Uwinka, where you will participate in the briefing session for your chimpanzee habituation experience in Rwanda.

You will be assigned a guide and ranger for your primate experience, you will hike through the rainforests watching bird and primate species and when you reach the chimpanzee troop, you will watch how the researchers gradually introduce people to the primates as they get accustomed to human presence.

This experience and process takes a longer time compared to chimpanzee trekking; the safari experience will give you four hours with the species, observing a number of rewarding attractions and taking their pictures.

After the time with the species, you will make your way to transfer to Kigali city where you will be dropped off at a location of your choice and this will mark the end of your 1 day Nyungwe national park safari/ chimpanzee habituation in Rwanda.
