DETAILED ITINERARY OF 13 DAYS KENYA, TANZANIA AND UGANDA SAFARI
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and transfer to Lake Nakuru
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, in the afternoon you will go for a game drive exploring the park and enjoying sightings of wildlife such as rhinos, giraffes, zebras, elands, leopards and many birds including flamingoes and cormorants along the shores of the lake. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer to Maasai Mara National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, you will checkout and go for an en-route morning game drive as you head to Masai Mara National Reserve – the most popular reserve in the world. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, after checking in a few moments of rest you will head to the reserve’s endless plains for an afternoon game drive. Lookout for several species of wildlife including wildebeests, lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, gazelles, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs among others.
In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Full day game drive with a visit to Masai people
After breakfast, you will head to the reserve for a full day game drive exploring the endless plains on morning and afternoon game drive with picnic lunch which you will enjoy along the banks of Mara River.
On the game drives, you will have ample time to explore the endless plains of Masai Mara National Reserve and enjoying sightings of wildlife including the iconic Big Five that is elephants, rhinos, leopards and buffaloes, enjoy the stunning view of the landscapes among others.
You will enjoy lunch at the banks of Mara River, enjoy your meals with sightings of hippos and crocodiles in Mara River. You will head to the Masai community along the boundaries of the reserve for a cultural experience, you will be entertained by local dances and drama, taste some of the local cuisines, take part in cattle rearing among other activities.
After sunset, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: transfer to Serengeti National Park via Isebania Border
Have early breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park with border crossing at Isebania border. Along the way you will have lunch, at the Isebania border, you will clear with the authorities and meet our Tanzania representative and head on a journey to Serengeti National Park.
Arrive late in the afternoon and with en-route game drive you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Full day game drive and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Have early breakfast and head to the plains of Serengeti for a full day game drive with your packed lunch, Serengeti plains are home to a huge population of wildlife which you will enjoy sight of from the pop-up roof of your vehicle. Some of the animals to lookout for include leopards, African buffaloes, zebras, elephants, cheetah, spotted hyenas, rhinos, wildebeests among others.
You will enjoy your lunch at one of the picnic sites in the park, continue exploring to the park as head to Ngorongoro crater head, check -in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Full day game drive in the crater floor
Enjoy breakfast, descend to the crater floor for a full day game drive with your packed lunch. Ngorongoro Crater also referred to as the Eden of Africa is home to huge concentration of wildlife including over 7,000 wildebeests, 6,000 spotted hyenas, 4,000 zebras, over 55 lions, 300 elephants and about 30 black rhinos which you will enjoy watching during the game drive.
You will explore the crater till late in the afternoon, head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: transfer to Tarangire National Park – morning game drive and walking safari – 2 hours
After breakfast, you will drive to Tarangire National Park which is a drive of approximately 2 hours. When you arrive in the park, you will go for a morning game drive for sights of large herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and blue monkeys.
You will have your lunch at a picnic site and in the afternoon, you will go for a walking safari exploring the park on foot and geta close encounter with various wildlife such as giraffes, elephants, zebras and many birds.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: transfer to Arusha and fly to Kampala and head to Kibale Forest
After breakfast at your lodge, you will check out and embark on a drive of 2 hours to Arusha for your regional flight to Entebbe International Airport Uganda, upon landing you will be welcomed by our guide and after a short briefing you will embark on a journey to Kibale Forest National Park- Africa’s Primate Capital. You will have lunch along the way, arrive in the park in evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk
After breakfast, you will head to the park’s headquarters for briefing about chimpanzee trekking and the rules to follow while in the forest. In groups of 8 people, you will head into the forests of Kibale looking for the chimpanzees.
As you trek, through the forest, you will be able to see other forest creatures such as birds and other primates like black and white colobus monkeys, olive baboons among others. Once you encounter the chimpanzees, you are allowed to stay in their presence only for one hour while taking pictures and observing their behavior.
Return to the park’s headquarters to pick your chimpanzee trekking certificates and head to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will go to the Bigodi Swamp for a walk on which you spot various bird species and more primates.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and afternoon boat cruise
Have breakfast and embark on a journey of 2 hours to Queen Elizabeth National Park, when you arrive in the park you will have a short game drive as you head to your lodge for check-in and lunch.
In the afternoon, you will head to Kazinga Channel for a thrilling boat cruise on which you will enjoy sights of large schools of hippos, crocodiles in the waters of the channel. Many water birds such as shoe bill, herons, crested crane and elephants and buffaloes along the shores of the lake.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: game drive in the Ishasha sector and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will checkout of your lodge and head to the Ishasha Southern Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a game drive on which you will spot the rare tree climbing lions and other animals.
Then embark on a journey of 3 hours to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving in the late afternoon, check-in at your lodge and spend the rest of the day relaxing at your lodge. Have dinner and stay overnight

Day 11: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Have early breakfast and head to the park’s headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking, a senior ranger guide will take you through rules and regulations to follow during the trek. In groups of 8 people, you will be assigned one of the habituated gorilla groups then head to the starting point.
Head into the forest looking for mountain gorillas, the trek takes approximately 2-6 hours depending on the movement of mountain gorillas and where they spent the previous night. The trek takes you through rugged terrain and you will encounter other forest creatures such as birds and other primates such as black and white colobus monkeys.
When you encounter the mountain gorillas, you will be amazed by their huge size and fur covered. You will be allowed to stay in their presence for 1 hour while observing their behavior which is so similar to that of humans, you are allowed to take pictures as long as your flashlight is off.
After this amazing activity, you will trek back to the park’s headquarters to pick your gorilla certificates and the head to the Batwa Community for a cultural experience. You will be entertained by local dances and drama.

Day 12: transfer back to Kampala and departure
After breakfast at your lodge, you will checkout and embark on a journey back to Kampala with en-route lunch in Mbarara. When you arrive in Kampala, you will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport to catch your departure flight.
