Your adventure continues to the source of River Nile in Jinja where you will participate in several water activities including rafting.

Detailed Itinerary of 5 Days Murchison Falls & Jinja Safari

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Representative and after a short briefing you will embark on a journey to Murchison Falls National Park.

It is a journey of 5 hours with en-route lunch and stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park entering the park through the Kichumbanyobo Gate and proceed to the top of the falls. Head to your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Boat Cruise and Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park

Wake up early for breakfast at the lodge and head out for a morning game drive searching for wildlife, some of the animals to lookout or include elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeests, Uganda Kobs, Oribis, and waterbucks among others.

After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon at 2 pm, go for a launch cruise along the Nile giving you an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the might Murchison Falls. Along the cruise, you will encounter Nile Crocodiles, hippos and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants, bee-eater among others. You will have time to take in the views of the falls at the bottom while taking pictures then later return to meet your driver and connect back to the lodge for a relaxing evening. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Jinja

Enjoy an early breakfast, check out of your lodge and embark on a journey to Jinja, pass through Kampala to connect to Jinja. Arrive in the late afternoon, check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: White water rafting – Source of the Nile

After breakfast, meet your guide and head out for a water rafting experience. Taking on the longest river in Africa and discover all the different levels of rafting, this is a perfect experience for water lovers.

After this amazing experience, you will return to the hotel for lunch, and in the afternoon go for a Jinja City Tour visiting the Sezibwa Falls Cultural Heritage Site, the famous Source of the Nile among other amazing sites.

Day 5: Return to Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and embark on a journey back to Kampala through the beautiful Mabira Forest. You will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight back home or to your next destination.
