Day 1: Arrival and Fly to Serengeti National Park

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Salt Holidays representative and transfer you to Arusha Airport for a domestic flight to Serengeti National Park. Upon landing at Seronera Airstrip, you shall be welcomed by your safari guide and after a short briefing about the safari, you will head to your lodge with game viewing en-route.

Check in and relax as you wait for lunch.

Later in the afternoon, you shall head out for a game drive searching for animals and get to appreciate the wilderness of Serengeti National Park. Later in the afternoon you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2&3: Explore in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at your lodge, you will head out for a full day of adventure in Serengeti National Park with your packed lunch box. In these two days you will engage in extensive game drives in Serengeti National Park, lookout for large herds of wildebeests and other wildlife species thriving out in the Serengeti Savannah Plains. Other animals to lookout for include lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes, elands, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras among others.

You will enjoy picnic lunch in the wilderness of Serengeti which is an incredible experience to look forward to. Later in the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

On these two days there are several options activities you can participate in including hot balloon safari.

Balloon Safari in Serengeti National Park – Just imagine floating above the Serengeti plains skimming treetops in complete silence whilst seeing wildlife on the ground below. Balloon flights are run daily at 06h00 from four launch sites within Serengeti National Park that is Seronera, the Ndutu Area, in the Western Corridor and in the northern Serengeti.

On your flight, you will float over the treetops as the sun peaks over the horizon permitting you to explore the endless Serengeti Plains from an unforgettable perspective. As you depart from your lodge in the morning, you may even spot some nocturnal predators getting ready for the day.

Upon landing you will be met by our representative and transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international flight back home.
